Assistant Front Office Manager


 
 

Job Description

 

 

The Assistant Front Office Manager position is responsible to assist the Front Office Manager in all aspects of the Front Office operation.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee standards to ensure guest expectations are consistently exceeded;
  • Actively participate on the front desk, reservations and guest relations to monitor departmental standards and ensure employees observe and follow the applicable procedures of work in the hotel;
  • Work closely with the team to ensure costs are controlled whilst driving hotel revenue;
  • Assist in ongoing training of all employees in the Front Office Sector;
  • Regularly inform all departments of the everyday situation in the hotel business, the important arrivals, groups etc;
  • Develop good relationships with guests, agents and tour operators, all in order to provide better service to all hotel guests;
  • Promote the desired work culture around the core values of Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Passion, Authenticity and Responsibility as well as embracing the brand ethos of Aman;
  • Work closely with other managers to further differentiate Aman at the pinnacle of the luxury lifestyle, and constantly review and refine every aspect of what an Aman property offers to our guests;
  • Overseeing all aspects of the guests’ experience;
  • Performs other tasks as requested by the Front Office and Guest Relations Manager;
  • Reports to the Front Office and Guest Relations Manager.

 

This position requires:
  • At least 3 years Front Office experience in a 5-star operation, with over 18 months at a supervisory level;
  • Fluent if English and Montenegrin;
  • Excellent computer skills;
  • Highly organized with strong communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and delegate;
  • Hard working and with a high level of energy.
