Job Description

 

The Front Office Manager position is directlyresponsible for multiple highly visible teams at the forefront of guest interaction whilst upholding Aman service standards through consistently exceeding guest expectations and driving business results in all aspects of the Front Office sector.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee departmental requirements to ensure all operational standards are consistently maintained at all times;
  • Recruit and manage a large team;
  • Organize and coordinate the work of all employees in the Front Office;
  • Conduct professional training of all employeesin the Front Office Sector;
  • Direct contact with the guests participating in raising the overall level of personal service;
  • Promote the desired work culture around the core values of Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Passion, Authenticity and Responsibility as well as embracing the brand ethos of Aman;
  • Plan and implement departmental budget;
  • Work closely with other managers to further differentiate Aman at the pinnacle of the luxury lifestyle, and constantly review and refine every aspect of what an Aman property offers to our guests;
  • Overseeing all aspects of the guests’ experience;
  • Performs other tasks as requested by the General Manager;
  • Reports to the General Manager.

 

This position requires:
  • At least 5 years experience in Front Office with at least 3 years at a management levelin a luxury operation;
  • Fluency in verbal and written English. Knowledge of an additional language is an advantage;
  • Excellent computer skills, with a knowledge of Opera highly desirable;
  • Ability to work with hotel reservation systems;
  • Highly organized with strong communication skills;
  • Efficiency of work commitments, excellent organizational skills;
  • Hard working and high energy levels.
