Chef de Cuisine

Job Description

The Chef de Cuisineposition is responsible for food operations in one of the restaurants in the resort, but also has an important contribution to make to the success of the Kitchens throughout the resort, as well as for groups and events.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversees rules and standards in his /her Kitchen all food and beverage outlets to ensure appropriate standards are maintained and developed;
• Contributes to developing recipes and menus;
• Organize and manage the kitchen, preparing the schedule of tasks and duties;
• Control the quality and quantity of goods received;
• Plans meals, ordering food and preparing menus, responsible for quality of food;
• Responsible for operating costs and sanitary standards;
• Creates daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed by the Executive Chef;
• Promote the desired work culture around the core values of Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Passion, Authenticity and Responsibility as well as embracing the brand ethos of Aman;
• Work closely with other managers to further differentiate Aman at the pinnacle of the luxury lifestyle, and constantly review and refine every aspect of what an Aman property offers to guests;
• Performs other tasks as requested by the Executive Chef;
• Reports to the Executive Chef

• At least 5 years experience working in high class hotels with 3 years in a management capacity;
• Fluency in business English and Montenegrin is mandatory;
• Highly organized with strong organizational skills;
• Hard working with a high level of energy.
