Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Job Description

The Assistant Housekeeping Managersupports the Executive Housekeeper to ensure the department is more efficient, in order to provide maximum services to guestswhilst driving the business results of the Housekeeping Sector.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee high operating standards to ensure guest expectations are consistently exceeded;
• Contribute to refining departmental policies and procedures;
• Assists in the planning, monitoring and coordinating the work of all staff in the Housekeeping sector;
• Promote the desired work culture around the core values of Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Passion, Authenticity and Responsibility as well as embracing the brand ethos of Aman;
• Constantly monitors the standards of cleanliness and service through inspections of all parts of the hotel;
• Work closely with other managers to further differentiate Aman at the pinnacle of the luxury lifestyle, and constantly review and refine every aspect of what an Aman property offers to our guests;
• Holds regular training for staff in Housekeeping sector;
• Performs other tasks as requested by the Executive Housekeeper;
• Reports to the Executive Housekeeper.

• At least 3 years experience in Housekeeping in a 5-star operation, with at least 18 months experience at supervisory level;
• Fluency in business English and Montenegrin is mandatory;
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Word and Excel;
• Highly organized with strong communication skills;
• Hard working and with a high level of energy.
