Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Job Description

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager position supports the Food & Beverage Manager in taking responsibility for all food and beverage operations in the resort, which currently consists of 3 restaurants, 24-hour room service and executing functions for groups and events. 

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee service standards in all food and beverage outlets to ensure guest expectations are consistently exceeded;
• Organize and coordinate the work of employees in the F&B sector;
• Performs professional training in the F&B sector;
• Control operating costs whilst driving revenue and exceeding profit targets;
• Promote the desired work culture around the core values of Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Passion, Authenticity and Responsibility as well as embracing the brand ethos of Aman;
• Conducts regular control of food and beverage department operating inventories;
• Work closely with other managers to further differentiate Aman at the pinnacle of the luxury lifestyle, and constantly review and refine every aspect of what an Aman property offers to guests;
• Implement the company’s Food and Beverage concepts as directed;
• Overseeing all aspects of the guests’ Food and Beverage experience;
• Performs other tasks as requested by the Food & Beverage Manager;
• Reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

• At least 5 years experience in food and beverage in a 5-star operation, with at least 3 years at a supervisory level;
• Strong knowledge and experience in the field of wine and beverages;
• Fluency in business English and Montenegrin is mandatory;
• Other language capabilities are desirable, but not essential;
• Competent computer skills;
• Highly organized with strong communication skills;
• Hard working and with a high level of energy.
