English-Montenegrin Translator - Court Interpreter
China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) is a large-scale, state-owned foreign-trade and economic-cooperation enterprise that focuses on construction of road, bridge, tunnel and port and other transport infrastructures as primary operation and trade, investment, leasing and service as its concurrent operations. China Road and Bridge Corporation Montenegro is the second European branch office of China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) situated in Podgorica, and was founded for the purpose of implementation of the Project Bar-Boljare highway with the accompanying roads. CRBC is searching for proactive and motivated candidates for the following position based in Podgorica:
English – Montenegrin Translator / Court Interpreter
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor, preferably Master degree in English language with major in translation
- Possession of court interpreter licence is considered as a competitive advantage
- Excellent speaking, writing and listening English language skills
- Native Montenegrin speaker
- Min. 5 years of relevant working experience is required
Responsibilities:
- Simultaneous interpretation at internal and external business meetings
- Make other Montenegrin-English and English-Montenegrin translation tasks on request
- Write formal letters, memos, reports in both Montenegrin and English language
- Assist in daily work such as files compilation, data sorting, keeping records of meetings and other if necessary
- Participate in other works according to project requirements
Candidate’s profile:
- Familiar with engineering and construction terms & terminology along with working experience related to civil engineering
- Very well organized and highly professional
- Ability to multitask and prioritize everyday duties
