China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) is a large-scale, state-owned foreign-trade and economic-cooperation enterprise that focuses on construction of road, bridge, tunnel and port and other transport infrastructures as primary operation and trade, investment, leasing and service as its concurrent operations. China Road and Bridge Corporation Montenegro is the second European branch office of China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) situated in Podgorica, and was founded for the purpose of implementation of the Project Bar-Boljare highway with the accompanying roads. CRBC is searching for proactive and motivated candidates for the following position based in Podgorica:
Lead Principal Engineer/Advisor
In Podgorica
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, master’s degree is preferred
- Extensive applied experience (minimum 10 years) in construction engineering is required
- Familiar with applicable state laws, regulations and enforcement procedures related to construction
- Good English language skills (both spoken & written)
- Computer literacy, especially with MS Word, Outlook, Excel
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice to senior leaders to impact business delivery, company strategy and industry direction and provide technical assurance to enhance business performance
- Manage relationships with key contacts, subcontractors and other technical communities, both inside and outside CRBC
- Lead development and transfer of best practice methodologies
- Provide training, guidance and leadership opportunities to less experienced engineers
- Provide guidance for optimization of all business processes
Candidate’s profile:
- Demonstrated written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively influence a range of audiences from operators to executives
- Proven hands-on experience in other big construction projects with leading roles
