China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) is a large-scale, state-owned foreign-trade and economic-cooperation enterprise that focuses on construction of road, bridge, tunnel and port and other transport infrastructures as primary operation and trade, investment, leasing and service as its concurrent operations. China Road and Bridge Corporation Montenegro is the second European branch office of China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) situated in Podgorica, and was founded for the purpose of implementation of the Project Bar-Boljare highway with the accompanying roads. CRBC is searching for proactive and motivated candidates for the following position based in Podgorica:




Bridge Construction Engineer

In Podgorica




Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, master’s degree is preferred
  • Montenegrin engineering licence is obligatory along with registration in local competent authorities
  • Good knowledge of English language
  • Hardworking, ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to work with various teams are desired
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant past experience in bridge construction is necessary

 

Responsibilities:

  • Problem evaluation, analytical solutions and geometric design development
  • Three dimensional computer modelling, simulations and estimating
  • Interpretation and development of structural calculations, specifications, standards and details
  • Field reconnaissance and data collection, in-office desktop research, and on-site investigations
  • Plan preparation, electronic document and file management
  • Development of proposals, presentations, reports, correspondence as well as schedules and monitoring project progress
  • Professional interaction and contribution in a collaborative team environment


Candidate’s profile:

  • Proven hands on experience in all aspects of bridge construction projects; demonstrating thorough knowledge of bridge engineering principles
  • Experience with bridge analysis and design programs
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments
  • Very well organized and highly professional
