General Manager

In behalf of our client, growing media group in Montenegro, we are looking for experienced and skilled candidates for following position:

GENERAL MANAGER

Position based in Podgorica

Main responsibilities/tasks:

• Management and optimization of financial and accounting activities in the company
• Direct leadership of finance and administration executives and strong coordination of all departments
• Continuous monitoring and analysis of processes and operations, providing inputs to the owner for further development and improvement

• Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations
• Strong cost control
• Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Ensuring the Group works to optimum performance and is able to meet target dates set by the Owner
• Budget preparations for all areas of the business (Finance, Commercial & Operations)
• Developing staff and maintaining their performance

Qualifications:

• University degree
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Media business, preferable on management positions
• Strong knowledge of media environment in Montenegro and region
• Computer skills - MS Office
• Excellent managerial, analytical skills
• Effective business communication and the ability to build relationships with people
• The estimated operational flexibility and willingness to work under deadlines and goals
• Fluency in Montenegrin/Serbian, both written and spoken; Working knowledge in English, written and spoken
