Adecco is searching for qualified, professional and motivated candidates for the following position:
Warranty Engineer
Description:
- Fundamental roles and responsibilities which are inherent to the position: Engineer required to act as Warranty Engineer and depot manager for rolling stock depot.
Tasks will include:
- Provide technical solutions to the problems found in the train
- Work in the train to repair warranty technical problems according to the solutions provided by warranty team
- Startup and supervision of the Warranty Centre. Meeting the contractual objectives and the internal objectives of the project. Define the different activities and identify the main objectives to guarantee the correct operation, the reliability, the maintenance, and the availability of the trains. Planning and monitoring of the corrective and preventive programmes.
- Manage and prepare all the resources needed for the correct fulfillment of the guarantee. Overview of materials purchasing, quality control, reliability and availability performance, depot safety.
- Technical and economic supervision of the trains. Analysis of service breakdowns and incidents. Creation of technical documentation (Warranty Reports)
- Intermediary between the client and the organization. Contact with the Client. Contact with the Organization (Headquarters)
They will report to the Warranty Manager for this project and they will remain in contact with the Project's Engineering, Quality and Management teams.
Required profile:
Education:
- Higher Mechanical, Electrical or Naval Engineering Qualification
Work Experience:
- It is required previous work experience (5 years) in maintenance or technical support in the rail or capital goods sectors. Required knowledge of the organisation and application of maintenance activities.
Others:
- English language knowledge (Intermediate level at least)
